Highgate Conservatives are working with police to help residents on the Gaskell Road Estate, who have fears about home security.
Local Conservatives contacted Haringey Council after tennants in and around Gaskell Road raised concerns with us about substandard locks and doors. As a result of this, police will be visiting the area to offer inspections of homes, so that security weaknesses can be identified and forwarded to Homes for Haringey for action.
Highgate Conservatives welcome the improved dialogue between council officers and residents at the recent residents’ association meeting, and will be pressing Homes for Haringey to become a more caring and responsible landlord.
